Artist Story
The studio sits between old-growth forest, steep ridgelines, and the open channel. Every series starts outdoors, then returns to layered studio work.
Nora began with watercolor field sketches made in Port Alice harbors and mountain trail pullouts. Over time those studies expanded into large oil and acrylic canvases that hold the same weather and movement.
Collectors describe the work as calming up close and dramatic from across a room. That balance drives each piece: grounded landscape structure with abstract energy.
